Chau Wall & Associates provided landscape architecture services for Sankofa Montessori School in Forest Park, Georgia, creating an engaging outdoor learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and connection to nature. Inspired by the natural tendency of children to move and play in circular patterns, the landscape design incorporates flowing, circular forms that connect flexible outdoor classrooms, raised garden beds, natural play elements, and interactive play stations. These interconnected spaces encourage movement, discovery, and social interaction while supporting the school's Montessori-based approach to hands-on learning. Thoughtfully integrated planting and site features create a cohesive campus landscape that supports outdoor education, imaginative play, and meaningful connections with the natural environment.
