vietnam veterans memorial

Dunwoody, Georgia

The Vietnam War Veterans Memorial, located in Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, Georgia, was developed in partnership with the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association and the Vietnamese American Community of Georgia.

This is the only memorial of its kind in the United States—created through a meaningful collaboration between Vietnamese refugees and U.S. veterans who served in Vietnam. The memorial serves as a gathering space for veterans and their families, promoting unity, remembrance, and healing. At its heart stands a powerful sculpture: two life-size soldiers—one American, one Vietnamese—standing side by side atop a pedestal within an oval plaza framed by black granite, evoking reflection and honor.

CWA provided the conceptual landscape design and remained actively engaged throughout construction administration to bring the vision to life.
